These strange ruins and lands that pass by everyday.
I am forced farther and further away.
Don't fear I'll find my way.
They can't blow out my fire inside.

Don't judge me too quickly!
No one's ever pushed me this much.
I'll fight its unyeilding force
I will never give up my pride!

Can't catch the Wind of the Wild
Then you can never escape the Shadows of Breaking your own Soul
Your own Will of survival
But I will swim the Waves of Will
I can never be tamed!

My story of lost good-byes
Is held within these broken lines.
I hold the pen and tap the keys
But words fail to express these hopeless dreams.

The story begins in the frostbitten days
And swiftly spins into an insane maze.
At first, the path is easy to trace
Until it twists and turns to hide the gates.

Perched amongst naked branches of the oldest tree,
A honey-eyed stranger declared true love for me.
Skepticism spun itself across my face
As he pleaded for a chance to prove our fate.

But skepticism gave way to lucid smiles
As each sweet nothing stretched the miles
That separated his heart from mine.
All my doubts

Thanks For The MemoriesI hurt for you
I feel pain for you
But you'll never know it

This will never be over
I wonder
Do you have these same thoughts of me
When you're alone at night?

I'll never forget you
An era of my life
Priceless
Mistake
I don't regret you

Rose's CallingYour sweet scent lures me to the place of your dwelling.
The branches of your arms are laden with petals of pain,
Staying timeless as the seasons glide over the land, you remain ever eternal.
Stealing drops of blood by way of thorn you receive your payment for your plucking,
I hold you close to my chest as I steal you away as a sign of adoration for my lover.
Eventually, you wither and fall away once disconnected from your home.
But, you are born again in the buds that line your birthing place.
Soon I will return again,
To listen to the rose's calling.

Silenced A DayThe days of summer
Just flow like sand through my hands
The emotions rise with every word said
Days of summer
And I'm stuck with a day
Singling out the rest

The days of summer
Losing time to get things straight
Insecure about what I am
Faith decided and shut me down
And sadly all I cared about was a single day

A day of many days of summer
Cause that day I didn't hear a thing
I'm just thinking about the things that went wrong
The things said
How far the truth went away

These days of summer
All worthless to me
These days couldn't ever compete,
To the day that you've silenced me.

Lament of a Pallid ShadeA red, red rose
She laid upon my skin
Devoutly, like a velvet caress.
She takes to our chamber,
to the coverlet we share.
Upon my side, without fail,
A red, red rose, she lays.

Every night,
She whispers prayers upon my lips.
Sweetest of kisses, she sleeps
Unwitting of the shivers that wrack,
my heart that silently weeps.
I reach out in vain
to her shoulder, her hand.
I cannot rouse her
nor can even my fingertips brush.
Reaching out becomes akin to
chasing one's shadow
Only this time, I am the pallid shade.

She has sworn to my curse,
Beholden by love, she is honour-bound
Foolish promises we ardent lovers speak.
On moonlit paths
Beneath trimm

SuicideWhen I lie in bed-
And cry hollow tears,
I imagine our lives
In the past years.

I peek out the window-
The darkness shines strong.
I gaze at the stars,
Wondering what went wrong.

My covers are cold.
My body drips sweat-
I can't stop thinking
Of when we first met.

The light on the clock-
It flashes 12:00 in blue.
It has been over 48 hours
Since I've spoken with you.

The silence strangles me,
I know you breathe fine.
I'm finding that-
It is too narrow a line.

I climb out of bed-
Stumble into worn clothes,
Grab rusted keys;
Where I go, no one knows.

The night stings
As I embrace it's love.
I walk to my car door,
And gi

and then shall your debt be settled.

Revenge of the divine law and natural order will come without mercy;
marking the end of your tyranny.

Falling Snow- Day 12Bloom among the fragile flowers

as the days keep getting shorter.

Let the meager innocence of the world

blind you with naivety.

Hold on as they try to tarnish those

beautiful petals of yours.

Stay here as long as you can

before the falling snow takes you away from me.

AromaAroma

Contrast of red flowers on green
With its the alluring aroma pleasant
Attracts all that behold its beauty
Though it is no rival to you
Yet appears no different
Than any dew covered plant
Until the smell of a unique fragrance
It possesses along with witnessing
The dancing of the bush in the wind
Enticing and seducing any creature
It mimics the grace of your movements
Chrysanthemum grow beneath the trees
Releasing their perfume among us

CrashI throw myself at
anonymity

inhabit turtle shell
back alleyway
shadows

sleep for 13 hours a night
lose my ability
for metaphors

quit writing
quit singing
quit college

I take on mannerisms
that would make my former self
look like a
bellowing lumberjack

I know it threw you

to watch a butterfly
devolve into
a caterpillar again
reverse Darwinism
disappearing wings

star turned black hole

Eyes Of EarthIt's the way you see me,
without flaw or condemnation.
It's the way you look at me,
with challenge and dare.

You're the apple of my eye,
and your eyes of earth are my Eden.

It's the way you touch me,
without egotism or sin.
It's the way you feel me,
with worship and devotion.

You're the Paradise upon my skin,
and your hands of divine are my Heaven.

Insecure Cures FailedWe all fear being left to die,
and we're all angry when someone harms us.
we all try to cover up our true emotions,
we all fake the tears of joy.

We all tried to end the horror,
just walk away and don't return,
we all make each other believe,
we're truly happy with the choices we've made.

but everyone knows that your confidence,
my confidence and theirs are just a quick response,
cause she you say everything so fast,
you try to cover up the insecurity you're going through.

Don't we all,
Shouldn't we tell?
Is everything we say,
just to cover ourselves in illusions,
or just hide the sorrow of today.

Every day is a new day,
but

If you weren't really here than who was?I see nothing but a
black haze surrounding my world.
I feel so broken, lost.
I smell your sweet scent
and feel your smooth skin
under the warmth of the
bright sun and blue cloudless sky.
Back to reality,
I feel my face
red hot with tears streaming down
I hear my muffled crying
I taste the metallic taste
of blood on my mouth
from my chewed lip.
Were you here?

MunchausenDelightfully agonizing screams that ring and echo so wretchedly
Crimson red dripping and sliding from the flesh
Yet, the only thing seen is questions and anxiety being flushed
and the only thing heard is the release of transgressions.
The smile and tears that shed were confusingly genuine
as there was a feeling of content masked over an extant of pain.
What do I earn from my own punishment?
Momentary peace? A harmful outlet? or is it Attention?

She leaves, do not speak again she yells.

Long time locked in her room
Not a peep or a cry in response.

The stairs groan under my weight and the rusty door creaks.
Shock, pain, sorrow, and misunderstanding…

The dappled specks in the midnight blue disappear from the universe and in her blank eyes.
A vial,

Please or Pleas?"Help! Help!
I'm lost and alone!
Please answer my pleas!"

"Which one do you please, little one?"

"Please help! I've been pleading forever to find someone!
Can you help answer my pleas?"

"Which one do you prefer for me to aid with?
The please or might you say the other pleas?"

"I do not understand…"

"If you cannot decide which 'please' you want, I can't assist your dire need."

"I… How many times must I say?
Please, oh please answer my pleas!"

"Very indecisive indeed!
Listen! Listen!
If you decide not to choose
I shall leave until another hopeless sap tries to understand your babbling whines!

I Will Always Return

The freedom I longed for is here in my grasp.
The fight and flight moment is upon me.
Will I stay to have a conflicting war inside my body?
Will I fly and return to my birthplace?

Return

I hear the voice of Wild's unspeakable howl
Calling my name
A sound that enlightens my path, the guide.

Return

My eternal flame ignites my spirit.
The fire that burns in my wild soul.
No matter what crossroads I will encounter.
Nothing will block my instincts.

I know the journey is grueling
The enemies unbearable.
Where ever in the world that you strayed.
Yearning for my return.
You knew...

Return

I'll glide past the tumbling waters.
I'll soar through Nature's vast Meadow.
I'll dance past the endless specks of ivory gleam.
I'll Fly in the eagle's eyes.

Return

I could never stand one more day without your comforting face!
I can never hope to continue life with only dreams of the wild.

I can't believe I made it this far!
There are no such things as forks in the trail.
All of them are connected to you!

Awesome! So far, I've been lucky. In our hometown, we had a festival where we go to tents, buy souvenirs, etc. So I entered in two raffles, 1) Snap Fitness, where I can go exercise for two FREE whole months! Plus, 2 sessions with a personal trainer!
2) Teakwondo! I got 2 weeks free of lessons and only a 35$ fee if I want to continue! I've never won anything before, so I actually

d on the phone with the Teakwondo lady! But she didn't mind, she was actually pleased with my reaction

that sounds so fun! ive never won anything. my dad has though, he won a drawing for 2 opera tickets, (he's really into classsical, and so am i, just not opera)
which is lucky for him. there is this one drawing u can win and enter 1,000,000$

i want my dad to enter, and he said "well margaret, u have to be really lucky to win", and i was like "

dad, we could still win though"
